For example, a fire/poison/energy field will apparently hit me only once with the turns and it will not give me any additional turn damage if I don't move to another elemental field if I stay on top of it... Is that true? Is that how it works?

No, when you step in a field rune u Will be hit by It, and even if you stay on It you Will get the damage turns. Only after the turns are complete you won't be hit again even if u are still standing on the rune.

For example, a fire field rune only hits you 20 Hp the first time you walk over It (even if u stay on It after), and then you Will be burning losing 10hp for 7 turns. After this time even if u are still step in the fire you won't lose HP again. Only way of renewing the burning is to go out and in the fire again

my question was kinda clunky because that's a hard thing to ask without making a long text, so sorry about that. I will try to reword it in a more adequate way but I was basically asking about this, about the first "hit" made by the elemental field and the subsequent damages that will fade with time. I thought that once you get on top of it, it will refresh the damage, but apparently that's not what happens and you are right. So we can logout on top of a fire field... Interesting.
