Hello,

my friend was persuaded by several people from our team to use the macro to collect loot (collecting 9 bodies at once by pushing one button in autohotkey program). He used it for one day (3-4 hours), but he regrets it and wants to avoid consequences.

The next day, he sold his character, sent items in parcel to new account, and intends to delete the old account (option "terminate account").

Do you think there is a chance that he will be able to avoid a ban on his new account for using macro on his old account?

I'm sure no one reported him before selling his old character.

Thank you.

For that it would be nice to have a system like other games , where your account is connected to a Identity Card or Passport so if you cheat you cannot come back to the game. This way the game would have so less cheaters.

I saw your question on Reddit yesterday already and I can tell you. Your friend will be good. There is a lot of people out there using loot macros for years and they haven't had any ban. If your friend wants to change account and everything that is fine and there will be 0 chance that he will get banned after. It sounds more like he is paranoid now that he used a cheat and it will haunt him for longer time.

First of all, if your friend hasn't received any rule violation record there's no need to sell the character nor terminate the account, remember there's a conduct level linked to your account and this will change depending if you have violated a Tibia rule, also depending on which rule you have violated (in this case Using unofficial software to play) but in the case someone reported your friend and Cipsoft members find him guilty he will receive a punishment.

Punishments are directed to the character or the account which received the rule violation, so answering your question: no, you can't be punished at a new account by a rule violation committed in another account.
