How does the "name recycling policy" works?

Hello.

Since the option of being able to change names became a reality, I have always wondered the following:

Assuming that we have several cases in which a name becomes "available" (character search does not return any results).

1. The character is removed from the game.
2. Someone changes their name and the old name becomes available.

The doubts that arise are the following:

1. Is it the same time that I have to wait in any of the cases explained above?
2. How long would I have to wait?
3. Is there a rule that prohibits me from offering financial compensation for a specific name that is already used by another person? (she/he would have to change it's name to make it available)

3. Is there a rule that prohibits me from offering financial compensation for a specific name that is already used by another person? (she/he would have to change it's name to make it available) - It is same as with houses. You can offer money for service as such- however this must be Tibia currency such as GP or Tibia Coins. In addition- it is very risky. The person from whom we are "buying" name can change his/her mind, as also someone else might claim the name.
