Does your Hireling NPC name change when you trade the character that owns it?

I sold a character via Bazaar and I noticed the new owner had the NPC on it renamed to an automatically generated Tibia name, I don't know if there was something "illegal" in my name and they detected it when the trade was done and changed it, or if there is an automatic namechange for NPCS, my NPC's name was Teemo, Teemo is a character from another game I play and I started wondering if it had something to do with that. So, every char-bounded npc gets a namechange after a trade?
