Unfortunately, there still is in Tibia people using unofficial softwares to play. One of the only ways to counter it is by luring monster or the cheater to a trap where a stronger monsters or a huge mob of monsters can kill him.

However, is that legal? Is that right to lure monsters against other players and do traps? Because at the same time, I know very well that some people are blocking spawns/quest areas with elaborate traps that will kill you instantly, ruining the gaming experience of several honest players... Sometimes these lured traps are similar to exploiting a game weakness/poor design.

What is the recommendation to players that want to lure monsters against others? Lurers are free to do everything they want or not? What is the interpretation that we can get from Tibia rules and determinations by Cipsoft so far? Is it the same rule according to server types (retro open pvp, open pvp, optional pvp, etc)?

I do not consider luring monsters to be abusive, more as part of the game, the tibia world is alive and open, so using monsters to fight between players is not abusive, so until you lure and don't use a bug or any exploit, you should not be punished for that.

I think he mean to say that traps like the ones in ferumbras seals can be done because there is a "bug" about these creatures trying yo go back to their respawn through the  cave walls, so they stay around the TP not letting other players to enter.

They are standing because they are blocked by energy walls, and because monsters are standing still if there are no players around so I don't see a bug in it, it's more to use game mechanics to your advantage. otherwise, if cipsoft consider it illegal, it would change these places, as he did with the bridge in issavi.

they do stay because as i said they try to go back to their main respawns through the cave walls... and u right it is not a bug, it is a weakness of the game. It is as legal as taking fake skull to make others red/black skull, which has being happenning for years now, and cipsoft made nothing about it.
I personaly have never reported anybody for making a 'carbomb' in a respawn, never considered this illegal, but for sure it is a way to exploit a weakness of the game
