Hi!

I would like to know if the creature I am targeting needs to bleed or be exactly next to my sqm in order to gain skill from manually training. For example, if I want to train fist/melee fighting do I need to bleed the monster or I would gain skill just by targeting a monster maybe 3sqm away from me?

Thanks!

Hello, Mikhelle!

To up any skill while online training you need to match 2 criteria

1º: You need to actually attack the creature with the skill intended to train.

So if you want to train fist fighting, you need to be in touch with the creature, otherwise you may target it but won't attack. If you want to train distance or ml, though, it is okay to be on a certain distance from the monster, as long as you can actually hit it.

2º: You need to bleed the monster or be bled by it once every 30 seconds, at least.

If you don't actually damage the monster or get damaged by it, after 30 seconds your skill progression will stop counting, so you need to make sure that, after 15 rounds, at least one of the attacks from either side causes some damage.

Ps: This does not apply to ml, since all you need is to spend your mana.

Hope I could be of some help. If you have any other doubts, please say, so I can clarify them. I am a training enthusiast, so put a lot of time learning how to optimize it :p
