Can I get double amount of dusts from monsters when there is double loot weekend?

Question

I can see the amount of received dusts in my loot chanel thats why I am curious if double loot weekend also works with dusts for the Exaltation Forge.

I believe the question is different, because slivers are looted and dusts aren't, so there can be a doubt. Also, the other questions asks about fiended monsters, and you can get dusts from influenced monsters too.

No, dusts are not loot from creatures. They go directly to your character when you kill an influenced or a fiended monster. So during double loot you get the normal amount of dusts if you kill an influenced or fiended monster.

• The loot chance of dust is independent of any kind of loot bonuses. Slivers however benefit from loot bonuses. Without any bonuses, fiendish monsters drop three to seven slivers.¹
