Is it possible to be roped twice to the Man in the Cave spawn?

I found the boss today but I start thinking, if the boss rope me and I leave the cave without killing him, can I be roped again?

In fact, even if you kill Man in the Cave , and leave the Monks alive you can be roped up again. This mechanism works if something is in the cave and stops working if all monsters from this cave are killed.

Here you can see the situation, when I was roped up even if the boss was killed few minutes before:

So if you accidentally left the cave you can be roped up again if monsters are still there.
