Does Guildhall transfer from the leader to the next?

If our guildleader wants to keep the guildhall but pass the leaderstatus of the guild is it possible and if so, how?

What happens to the guildhall when he "abdicates"?

Yes. The guild hall will transfer to the new leader of the guild.

I'd add that this happens completely automatically. There's nothing that a guild leader needs to do, the GH will always be transferred together with the guild. Also, there's no way to stop the guildhall transfer from happening.
