Is there a way to set "Print Screen" as a hotkey to take a Screenshot in tibia?

Question

Since the implementation of the Black Screen, we cannot take screenshots from Tibia using our usual "print screen" button, because the screenshot will just ignore the game. (They did this to punish Pixel bots).

So, for us to take a screenshot, we have to go to our "General Hotkey" and find the line: "MISC: Take Screenshot" and then set a button to be the hotkey for that client function.

For some reason, I can't choose "Print Screen" as the button assigned to this function. Does it happen to everyone? Is there a way to go around it?

There's no way to use the print screen button sadly unless it's the first 10 minutes of you opening the client. So what I do is I exit the client and just log back in if I want to take a screenshot. I tried to do a workaround by setting up a hotkey on my mouse for print screen and that didn't work was still a black screen. I decided to submit a support ticket for this question. I asked CIP if there's any workaround for using the print screen button - Here's the official reply:

Unfortunately, it is not possible to use the "print" button to make screenshots in Tibia anymore - except for the first 10 minutes after you've started the client. This is a feature that helps to prevent a certain type of bot in Tibia.

To make screenshots, you can use the client's own screenshot function. Either you a hotkey and bind the function screenshot to it. Moreover, you can take screenshots of important events of your Tibia adventure automatically. To do so, simply open the Options menu and make sure that you have checked the box for "Show Advanced Options". Under "Misc" you will find the article "Screenshots" which is offering various options.

Can you use the quote feature instead of a screenshot of a text? Remember that text on images cannot be processed by search engines like Google.

Yep, It happens to everyone. You need to asign a different ley to take screenshot

You can try WIN + SHIFT + S ,  is a different way to capture screen on windows. With this you can also choose the part of the screen you want to capture.
