Can you gain experience if you leave a creature in low hitpoints for hours? Is there a time limit?

Sometimes I leave certain creatures in low hit points. I was wondering if I leave that creature with low hitpoints for hours and someone kills it do I get credit for killing it too? Is there a time limit that I'll get credit for that experience when online?

Just tested it,

Hit a skunk right after ss and logged out the character. Waited 10 hours to log in back, and asked a friend to kill the skunk.

Conclusions: Yep you got experience, I guess that if you get it after 10 hours, there must be no limit.

As long as you have dealt damage to the creature and you are online at the time someone else kills it (doesn't matter if you logout and came back 12 hours after you dealt the damage to the monster) you are going to get experience from the damage you dealt and loose stamina for it.

The only time limit is the server save, because during the server save all the monsters get reseted.
