What is the optimal defensive Imbuements/Gear/Prey for Energy Library?

Hello,

I've never been at Energy Library and I'd like to give it a try on 2x experience. 

I know the creatures there deals a lot of damage and not just 1 type, we have have energy damage, and also a lot of Holy damage, and maybe some other type, which I'm not aware of, since I've never hunted there.

My question is:

• What is the optimal Equipment to wear there, so I can have the best defense as possible?
• What is the optimal Defensive Imbuements?
• If I'm to get defensive preys, which creatures should I put it on?

I have pretty much every equipment a knight can have, so don't take money in consideration, give me the best way to fix my set.

P.S: Please avoid answers like "I think gnome shield will work, since its energy library", I want to know answers from people who has actually been there and tested it out, so I can rely on the answer instead of dying due to a "i think" answer.

Please, could you reformulate the title as a question?

On energy library for sure you should have preys on damage reduction in:

• Brain Squid or Knowledge Elemental
• Energetic Book
• Energuardian of Tales

On your level ek the best equipment is:

• Falcon Coif with imbuements on: skill and void
•  Elven Mail with imbuements on: void, holy and energy protection
•  Falcon Greaves
•  Gnome Shield with imbuement on: holy protection
• Prismatic Ring
• Prismatic Necklace
•   Void Boots
• I don't remember if you are using sword or axe but you should make imbuement on crit / void and fire damage ( if you are sword fighter the best is  Summer Blade with crit and void imbuements )

And the last but not less important - charms!

• Dodge  -  
• Enflame - 
• Curse - 
• Poison -

Do you think the HOLY IMBUEMENT on the elven mail is more important than the 12% physical defense in the Falcon Plate?

Regarding the preys, I'm still confused on what preys to prioritize... since you basically listed every creature on energy section, besides Biting Book...

I'll give you an example of what kind of answer I expect for the prey:

On Fire Library I prioritize the preys like this: Rage Squid >> Burning Book >> Guardian of Tales
IMO Rage Squid is the most important to get, so if I'm going to hunt with 1 prey, I will choose Rage Squid and never Guardian of Tales, you know? Thats what I want to know on energy Library, if I'm to chose 1,2 or 3 preys, which creatures should I select? How should I prioritize them?
