How much time takes for a hole to close?

Question

Caves with one hole as entrance are so useful to set defense points because when they close and people stack on It or take its spot, It is not possible to open.

So how much time It takes for It to close?

Good question, but you want an answer regarding only holes in open pvp? This technique is only available for open pvp? I am legitimately curious about that.

Ofc time is the same for every world, but the only ones where people can actualy stack for this purpose are open PvP ones

I checked it using stopwatch. It doesn't matter if we stand next to the hole or whatever we stand, the hole closes after 5 minutes.

there are sometimes exceptions to some holes, for example this closes after 20 seconds.

Im curious if you have checked other holes?
 I seem to remember some holes closing quicker than others.

I think the ones in dessert of ank also close faster, right?
I think the ones "hidden" by the sand are the exceptions ;p
