Why is New Year celebrated in Tibia if the times are different?
Example: 1 day in tibia is a 1:15 real time.

Tibia year is not like our year, each tibian day is a hour for us so a day for us is 24 tibian days so a year in tibia would be 8760 tibian days

You might ask as well "why we celebrate Christmas in Tibia if there is no Jesus Christ in game?". I think that celebrating this kind of events in Tibia refers to holidays or events in our real life and New Year celebated in game has nothing to do with Tibian time.
