Imbuing is the action of temporarily boosting an equipment item using Astral Sources. Imbuements can be applied to any item with imbuement slots, but each imbuement is only available for a particular set of items or item types.

Process

To Imbue an item you need:

• Use an Imbuing Shrine on the item you want to imbue.
• First part of the Forgotten Knowledge Quest.
• Creature products pertaining the imbuement you desire.
• Gold fees listed below:

Gold fee to carry out an imbuement:

• basic imbuement: 5,000 gold
• intricate imbuement: 25,000 gold
• powerful imbuement: 100,000 gold

Success rate of an imbuement:

• basic imbuement: 90%, gold fee to raise it to 100%: 10,000 gold
• intricate imbuement: 70%, gold fee to raise it to 100%: 30,000 gold
• powerful imbuement: 50%, gold fee to raise it to 100%: 50,000 gold

It's worth adding that imbuments are one of the most important things to have in Tibia these days. If you can afford it and unlocked the ability to do the powerful imbuements you always want to go for them as they are much better than weaker versions (capacity can be done at level 2 to save some money).

Depending on your vocation, how many slots your item have you will usually use:

For weapons/ wands: Critical Strike, Mana Leech and Life Leech.

Helmets: mana leech and skill boosts.

Armors: life leech and elemental protection.

Shields: elemental protections.

Backpack: capacity

Boots: speed or paralyse removal.
