Eternal Oblivion was to be the legend of the legends, what happened to him?

Steve the real Eternal leave the game on december of 2006, because a friend in real life of him died in car accident, so he get retired in honour of him. On that time he haved this message on the tibia page:

Rest in Peace Pedro

There is no Tibia in Heaven, youll be happy there and well remember you always. We wont play in memory of you, well live in memory of you and stop wasting our lives here.

Everyone who wishes to remember and honor Pedro please wear pink in-game. Thank you and well miss yo. You will always be in our memories Peter.

In august of 2007, the character got ban (And his guild too) by destructive behavior, some people say this happened with the new owner of the account.

I cannot attest to this actually being Eternal Oblivion or not, but I do want to share what was said on this reddit. I do recommend you reading the other content he posted as it's interesting. Please note I do not support rule violations.

Q: What happened to Eternal Oblivion? / Why did you quit?

A: Once I was close to finishing my final exams in university, I decided to move on from the game and started looking for job opportunities. Regardless of how fun Tibia was, it would not pay my bills. This was sometime in 2006 and I handed over the account completely to my room mate at the time (who I had frequently shared the account with). I never played it ever since. However, I will occasionally visit the Tibia and TibiaBR forums. I also watch a few Tibia videos every now and then on YouTube. I'm not browsing around on social media that much.

Regarding the previous comment on his profile about someone by the name of Pedro passing away:

Q: I had one, but it’s from after you gave the account away. It was about the character comment in the tibia page where you read something about your friend Pedro and wearing pink color in the game. I wanted to know if it was true and if it was, to tell you I’m really sorry.

A: I believe that comment was made by Jeff. I don't remember writing any such comment. But Jeff would very oftenly make jokes at the time we played together, so I wouldn't be surprised if that was some sort of joke. Jeff and Quatre Sandrock played the last dozens of levels on the character.
