How to solve the problem of login and relog, but IP locked?

Is there any way to make that if I play Tibia with WiFi from my laptop when I change character I don't get the following message:

“your game session is already locked to a different IP. Please log in game”.

Does this happen every time you change characters or every now and then? A friend had this problem and he solved it by using a proxy. Maybe it's something with your ISP or some modem setting. It happens to me sometimes, but it's not a recurring thing. Disabling Ipv6 might help too, give it a try.

How could I use a proxy or configure the modem? I am really ignorant about this.

It happens very often, it has even happened to me that I connect, want to switch to another one right away and have to reconnect.
