That's because some creatures are designed to keep their distance, but they'll move just when a player gets to melee distance, that's why it won't be so fluid.Just a curiosity: back in the days, we used to have a function for that, as players too, similar to the "Chase Opponent" one (https://tibia.fandom.com/wiki/Chase_Opponent), but it was discontinued later, because it was really not used, mainly because it wasn't a fluid movement and monsters would get close to us anyway.
