I'm asking this question because I was talking with a friend the last few days and he was insisting that the Thornfire World Change was triggered every three days, and since I already knew how it worked, I tried to "show" him how it was done and tried to trigger the World Change that day on our world.

Killed 3 Elf Overseers;
Killed every single elf in Shadowthorn atleast 3 times;
Killed all Cyclops and Dragons;

But in the end, the moss wasn't removed from the Firestarters prisons, so I wasn't able to trigger the World Change.

It's necessary to kill the Firestarters? After killing all Overseers and elves in Shadowthorn, is there a specific number of elves that must be killed?

I searched through TibiaQA's questions and answers and didn't found a concrete solution to this mechanic.

Personally I believe that killing every single elf is a hoax and the game checks just the Overseers and a total of 300-500 elves.

Hello and good afternoon.

"It's necessary to kill the Firestarters? After killing all Overseers and elves in Shadowthorn, is there a specific number of elves that must be killed?"

In order to be short and help you answer the question, three conditions must be met for the world change to change the next server save.

1. Kill all 3 Elf Overseers.

2. Make sure to kill all elves inside Shadowthorn at least once.

3. Break the wooden bars where the firestarters are caged at least once.

Once all the requirements are met the next server save as mentioned the firestarters must have turned the place on fire.

Hope I helped with my answer

yours, James Decross

As I've mentioned on my question, I did objectives 1 and 2, but the moss wasn't removed from the wooden bars (prisons), so I wasn't able to break the bars and trigger the World Change. My question is that maybe there is a specific number of elves that must be killed before the moss is removed. Or the Firestarters need to be killed too inside the wooden bars.

Did you double or triple check by rekilling the elves? the part on moss being able to be removed has to happen when all elves inside have been killed.

Yes, I killed all elves 4 times, but the moss didn't disappeared. Will try again another day to see if killing the creatures in the bog temple like the other answer mentioned will do something different.

did you also killed the monsters in the bog gods temple? Wiki says that "When you kill the bog god's followers his power will weaken and the moss covering the bars will recede."Try it!

I also tried killing them and also the Firestarters using runes and no luck.. unfortunately it didn't trigger.
