I recently started searching for all the raids, but many times the raid symbol on the map doesn't disappear even when I've killed everything, does this mean that there are still monsters to kill from that raid active in the area or is it not a decisive sign to know if it's finished?

I want to know if there is a specific way to make the exclamation mark disappear.

I second that "I want to know if there is a specific way to make the exclamation mark disappear." question! It intrigues me as well, especially as the sign seems to stay for a long time for some raids while not for the other, with some apparent correlation with accessibility and popularity of the location.

Currently the raid icon appears for the entirety of the raid duration, regardless of whether you kill all the creatures or not. So think of the raid icon as more of a timer for how long the event can stay active, rather than it being an indication of whether the creatures are still alive or not.

So if you see a raid icon all it means is that the raid was activated and it may or may not have been killed by other players already. The icon will stay there for the set amount of time the raid is supposed to last, and there is no player input that will change it.
