Can you block Yeti's spawn on Chyllfroest Mountain?

I was wondering if it's possible to block said respawn(?)

As of Folda, Yeti appears as a raid, no matter if you stand there or not - it will spawn sooner or later.
But what about Chyllfroest? Does it work the same way as Folda or can you actually block the respawn?

Last year they appeared on my face. When I went upstairs to get the badge they weren't there, but when I went downstairs I found 2. I wasn't on the same floor at the time of the appearance, but I was one floor up.
