Is there any confirmation of which skinable monsters qualify for the Skin-Deep achievement? For example, I understand that Clomps do not assist in this achievement, but I am  trying to figure out which monster(s) do?

What a great find! I guess this has to do with Clomps being introduced (10.90) after the achievement (8.70). It could be a bug, and I suspect other creatures introduced after 8.70 may be affected as well. (High Lizards?)

Why do I think it may be a bug?
Because there was a bug with skinning Bonebeasts, I suspect the "skinning successful" counter is incremented per defined use-with action pair (Obsidian_knife, Bonebeast_body). In that bug, the counter was inadvertently incremented also on failures. In the case of Clomps, I believe such change to the counter is missing.

That is an interesting thought.

How did you assume that not every skinable monster qualify for that achievement?

According to both Tibiopedia and Tibia Wiki, you receive that achievement after 500 successful monster skining (with obsidian knife), no matter which.

This would be more adequate as a comment, since I do not recognize it as an answer.

What prompted my search for an answer as to what creatures qualify to help with the achievement is that I did the entire Clomp bestiary and successfully skinned well over 600 Clomps - No achievement. I would assume The Lord of the Elements could be the same way as it is considered a "boss" and not a normal "monster" as the achievement spoilers indicate monsters not bosses.
This lead to my question stated above.

What creatures qualify?

That is what I am trying to figure out. I do not know if others have had similar situations with other skinable monsters where they have successfully skinned 500 of a certain monster without the achievement happening.
