What causes a player to not get the kill on a nemesis boss?

When a team of players gather to kill a nemesis boss, I have noticed that some players do not get the boss kill. What causes this to happen?

When you share a nemesis boss it is possible to miss the kill if you don't deal enough damage to the boss.  It is also possible to miss  certain nemesis bosses that heal once in red, you have to hit them at least once after it heals. Here is a list of some bosses that heal after they are hit to red once Zushuka, The Welter, Schlorg and Hirintror.

Tyrn as well and also I noticed that White Pale heals for 400 at red.

And it's "Shlorg" ;p

I believe It is also important to consider time, if you deal damage and too much time passes before it dies you won't get the kill... same happens with bestiary

If I recall correctly the damage you deal lasts for 5 minutes, then you have to deal some damage again for the entry.
