Is it worth to offline train magic level as a Royal Paladin?

Perhaps there is a threshold where you will get less distance in the 12h train and it might be better to train ML up to certain level...

I even trained as knight lol

I believe that is truly not worth it... might be a good question to ask though

I don't think it's worth to train the magic level offline. I'm a RP 400 with dist 112 and ml 31. I don't remember the numbers exactly, but I would get 1 dist for each 40 days offline training distance, but offline training magic level takes more than 1 year.

I suggest offline training distance and using the weekly exercise weapons for magic level. If you have money, you can buy some training wands to use during double xp/skill events.

There is a lot of calculators on fansites.

Thanks YakiHon. Your comments demonstrate that it is much more efficient to offline train distance than magic level. In my case, 22 distance would give me much more power than just 1 magic level.

@Napom: while the formula are openly available online in multiple places, I used the Nabbot discord bot which applies them to an easy to use tool. You can find more details in their documentation and to my knowledge it is the best to get ccurate data on both online and offline training.

@aulitriel : you are welcome, the choice is indeed easy to make :D

Magic level affects you main AOE damage (Exevo Mas San and Runes) also affect your healing with spells. So, yes get a good Magic Level with Paladin, IT WORTH.

Despite how it affects damage, it is very slow to level up by offline training. Incredibly slow. Definitely not worth it, since the alternative of training distance fighting is much faster and gives better damage results.

You mean by "alternative" using training wands/rods during double skill? I wonder if training online with utana vid still is acceptable... Or maybe I am just too archaic for Tibia now, hahaha

The original question is regarding "offline training" not online.

Offline training distance is always the best option for a Paladin, offline training magic level is way too slow. For example, gaining 1% from ml 34 to ml 35 is about 1 month and 21 days.
Meanwhile, offline training from 115 distance to 116 distance takes 1 month, that's it.

The alternative to offline train magic level is to offline train distance, of course.

Now on to rods, since paladins still want to train magic level it is best to use rods at double exp times. It is also more efficient than using training bows.
Training rods vs utana vid? Well, if you had other people pushing potions on you, it is faster than training rods. But paladins can't use utana vid and it requires a lot of game actions...

My mistake, big sorry. But about the Utana vid, a long (very long) time ago, paladins used to have this spell. I remember on how happy I was using it. And Utana vid is a somewhat old method to train online because you spend a lot of mana without spending soul points. Paladins would do that after spending all of their mana on burst arrows if they wanted some extra Magic Level.
