The general rule is that buying the items in the store is cheaper.

Consider this: If getting the items through the tokens were cheaper, someone would just buy tokens, transform to itens and sell them in the market, getting some profit. The opposite is not truth, if you have the items you cannot transform them into a token. Therefore the price of buying the items is below the price of buying the tokens or almost the same, such that no one wants to invest time to transform the token to get a small profit.

It might vary from server to server and specially how makert is going, for axample, at my server  I used to buy Gold Tokens arouynd 30-38k each, it means that buying gold tokens I spend less money that buying the items separate. But this is at my server during an specific time.

Last weekend we have rapid respawn so the items prices might decrease, so  in the nearby days maybe it will be better to buy the items separate.
