Should an Elite Knight use Soulmaimer or Falcon Battleaxe? (my skills: 116 axe, 101 club)

Hi guys,

I just bought an EK, and I was wondering what should I choose, Soulmaimer or Falcon Battleaxe ? As you can see my club skill is much lower comparing to axe skill (101 to 116) but I was hoping 3 slots and slightly better attack would make up for it. Anyone has an idea, or should I test it ? I'm thinking that Soulmaimer would give me a little more chill hunts if I imbu it with life, mana and crit and Falcon Battleaxe will just give me more damage, but I'm curious of what you think.

I say, go with the best weapon of your best skill.

101 skill level is very low for EK above 400 in my opinion. 101 skill level is something which I would have below 100lvl on my EK. The difference between 101 and 116 is too big also. Let's bring here the strongest argument in here:

Money & Time

I understand that the price of Soulmaimer is attractive and that's why you would consider getting one. But then you are loosing potential which the the char already have and you making yourself invest in club training.

It takes around 90 Lasting weapons, 64800 TC, 680400k GP, 720 hours- 30 days (calculated with 0 loyalty points and 0 %loyalty bonus). It is more than a year of offline training. Yes, ofcourse, you would not train most of the skill progression, but you would invest in training at some point, as you definitely would not be satisfied from your attacks even if using best weapon. But main point of this calculation is- this is how much time and money you putting in the bin for cheaper weapon and chill hunt. Now, if you would use 82 Long lasting training weapons for axe you would get to 122 Axe skill... I will not mention that for part of this money, you can just buy Souleater and have your dream chill hunts with life, mana and crit as also better damage! In case you have not much money- go with Falcon Axe and profit the rest of cash for Souleater:)

Lower Skill = Lower damage = longer time to kill creatures = bigger waste & lower exp/hr
