What does the symbol on Zaoan Drawing mean?

I was wondering if there is any meaning of the symbol on Zaoan Drawing:

Is it by any chance in Chinese Language?

I believe it is not Chinese; the third symbol seems to be a Japanese "katakana" (sa).

Google Translator gives you an option to draw and check for ideograms.

Though the first 2 ones (or is it one ideogram as a whole?) I couldn't find which one would they be.

So perhaps it's not even Japanese, and the third one is just a coincidence (or the only one in Japanese).

Maybe it's just random drawings; though that third symbol is too much like the "sa" katakana in Japanese.
