What happens to Christmas Bundles when they disappear after Christmas?

What happens to Christmas Bundles when they disappear? Does what's inside also disappear? Does it turn into a Christmas Present? I had Christmas Bundles inside of my house and woke up to them gone. I believe no one else touched them.

The bundles will stay in the game only if you opened them and they are containers!

Unopened Christmas bundles shall disappear after the Christmas Event! 

Make sure to open them before they are gone :)
