Does Damage Input to Megasylvan Yselda correlate to damage Megasylvan Saplings take During the Fight?

Question

During the boss fight with Megasylvan Yselda one of my druids told me to stop attacking her. Which rose the question, "Does Input damage to her harm the Saplings further?". It seems like they do take constant damage no matter what, but does a high damage input to her raise that constant damage or add additional damage to them?

Since finishing the missions iv started killing her solo and just letting saplings die. but i have noticed she use some attacks if you are like 4 sqm+ away. but if you stand basically 2-3 sqm she stops spamming that 4 corner aoe. im playing on lvl 451 RP.

So beside standing at certain distances, Does your damage seem to have any effect on the AOE that effect the Saplings?

not at all. my physical attack hits her really low most of the time.holy spells all the way.
