Is it worth to use powerful frost on royal crossbow instead of crit (+void & life)? I want to hunt hot spot in gnomebase alpha for bestiary (Vulcongra, Massive Fire Elemental, Dragon Lord). My lvl is ~150.

For bestiary crossbow isn't the best idea, you not sure is that you wanna hunt there ? Also, which imbuement are you thinking to replace? I would keep void crit and lose life since I would be doing bestiary and usually bestiary is about killing something you can easily kill and do it fast and in large groups

I want to mainly kill vulcongras for bestiary and figured that at this lvl I can safely do it one by one (that's why i picked crossbow). I think hunting there with diamond arrows would be too much waste.  I planned to replace crit, but maybe replacing life leech is a better idea.

These bestiaries are easily acquired when you have a few more levels, I suggest you go there lvl 250+ using diamount arrows and avalanche runes but if you really want to hunt slowly to make the bestiary my advice is not to invest in an imbuiment as expensive as it currently is to hunt these creatures. Reason: Massive Fire Elemental, Vulcongras and DLs have very little life and with a few hits you can kill. These creatures have about 15% weakness against ice and this will not cause you to decrease your average hit rate to kill a creature. For example, suppose you give 5 hits to kill a DL without ice imbuition, with ice imbuition you will give the same 5 hits where you will rarely give 4 to finish. As it is a single target the difference in hits at the end of the hunt will not make any difference. Advice: continue with life and void.
