When were hotkeys added to the game?

Hi!

As I know a long time ago, when Tibia started, hotkeys were not available in the game. I want to know when Cipsoft implemented the use of hotkeys in the game.

Hi there,

As far as I remember (back to around 2002) Tibia have always had the Hotkeys system but it was not as sofisticated as it is right now. Back then, it was version 7.0 I think, you could only add phrases, not neccesarily spells, to your Hotkeys and it was limited to the F keys from F1 to F12.

Few years later, on 2006 with the arrival of version 7.8, a new Hotkey system was introduced which was a turning point for the Tibia gameplay. That's when Cipsoft allowed the player to configure a specific hotkey to use an object and to select if we wanted to use it on ourselves, a target or a specific SQM with the "crosshair" option.
