Have you ever wonder how some players can play so smoothly, while you struggle with spells rotation?

There are so many hotkeys to use: healing, rune shooting, pot drinking, instant spells...

Everything on the keyboard? How to cope with that?

Many less experienced players asked me how I can hunt easily at some spawns (with low level) while they constantly dying (especially mages).

The answer is - I am using hotkeys binding to a mouse button. It is not possible yet through the Tibia client. I am using X-mouse button control, but many players have software added to their mice, like Razer software or Logitech.

There is one VERY IMPORTANT RULE which CANNOT BE BROKEN (or You account may be deleted due to cheating) - You can bind ONE ACTION to ONE MOUSE BUTTON.

For example if we bind exura vita to "scroll down" it is allowed and legit. (1 action-1button)

But If we bind exura vita and drinks mana potion to "scroll down" it is rule violation, and may cause deletion.

My example button set for mage AOE hunting:

Healing spell - scroll up

Rune on cross - scroll down

Shot rune - left click

Drink mana potion - the closest and most comfortable button to reach on Your specific mouse

This is the most basic hotkeys set, which gonna make You many times more effective Player than if You would use the only keyboard.

Tibia rules to prove this is legal:

5e) Is it allowed to use the extra buttons on a gaming mouse/keyboard as hotkeys?
Yes, you can generally use the buttons of your gaming mouse or keyboard like hotkeys. However, please note that you may not bind more than one action to a button. For instance, it is acceptable to bind to a button the drinking of a mana potion. However, it would be illegal to assign to a button the drinking of a mana potion and then casting "exura". Thereby, it does not matter if the action is performed by pressing a combination of keys (e.g. CTRL+F1) or a single key (e.g. F1).

Some people use Gaming Mouses that has been designed for MMO''s , I give you a list of them that are nice to use:

  • UtechSmart Venus Laser MMO Gaming Mouse.
  • Redragon M901 PERDITION Gaming Mouse.
  • Razer Naga.
  • Logitech G600
  • Corsair Scimitar Pro.
  • Roccat Tyon.
  • Perixx MX-3100.
  • Havit MS735.
For me the best are the Logitech G600 and the Corsair Scimitar Pro
Corsair (Best for smaller hands)
Logitec G600 (Big hands)

This gaming mouse have a software like the X-mouse button control , but with the advantage that you can save the Config into the memory of your mouse. With mouses like this you dont need to be  switching the hands like before for doing hotkeys or something like that , for example with a mouse like that I only use my right hand for all hotkeys and myleft hand just for Move.
