How to set up my hotkeys for a tournament character without the need of logging in on that character?

Due to the Sunset of Tournaments, this question is outdated.

Tournaments may display a timer that will keep ticking even if you are inside a protection zone. There was also cases where tournament worlds would have such timer disabled on protection zones. Such thing is amazing because it gives you time to think and set up hotkeys.

But how can I set up the hotkeys of a tournament character without the need of logging in? How can I do that easily and in an effective way?

I would recommend logging into a different character on your account and creating a new hotkey preset. You can create it from scratch or duplicate an existing one if you want the same/similar hotkeys to another character you already have. I would name the new hotkey preset the same as your tournament character name and check the box to "Auto Switch Hotkey Preset". Now when you login to your tournament character the hotkeys will already be configured and the preset selected automatically.
