I've been donating money to the NPC Lugri for many years now, what's the purpose of this functionality?

Many people have given gold to different NPCs when looking for unknown quests or achievements, but nothing was ever found. Remember that in test servers you can usually get free money from Testserver Assistants, this helps with this kind of testing.

The only known useful donations to an NPC are those to Simon The Beggar. By saying help, yes, yes, yes, he will take a total of 800 gold from you and give you Fibula Key in exchange for your donations.

The donations are useless, he is an evil npc, the deceiver of people. He is responsible for divorces and he can burn you, so he is a "bad person" xD

There are several npcs who accept donations not only lugri....but nobody really knows why this comand is there...some people say its an old quest so old that is not even in the questlog! Others npcs who i know accept donation with the green glow as lubri: Tibra (carlin)  Lynda (thais) Kasmir(darashia)....

ive heard about ferus in kazordoon....but his donation doesnt make the green glows as all others and....is not 15gp as always but 50g

Some rumours says that those donations make others npcs trust you more....like if it was an kind of fame mechanism....and that would change npcs dialogues with you....actually i discovered about those donations yesterday =] so i dont know what i think about it....

But i dont think cip made it for nothing...
