What is reward mechanism in case of Scourge of Oblivion?

Question

Some of main bosses drops valuable loot quite randomly, other bosses takes into account participation. How does it work in case of Scourge of Oblivion?

We have a team been doing it everyday for some month and the ticket/calamity dropped to all kind of remember, the knight who off block the minions during boss phase and barely hit the boss, also to the  so I don't think it have some of mechanics of participation it is just random assignment to everyone.
