What vocation should I play if I have a druid in my team already?

Question

Neither I or my brother played Tibia since Zao was released. Now we are going to start fresh, He will be playing a Druid, but I have a problem deciding my vocation. Knight I guess would be nice so I can tank and he can heal me? Being a sorcerer would be good so that we can run monsters and use AOE runes and might be better if we want to PVP? Paladins is a mix of the two? He is a druid so I won't play that...Please give me a few tips and tell my why each vocation is good/bad :)

I would say to go for paladin, since It can mostly do the Knight job and del more AOE damage. The problem is that if you are starting over, from lvl 8, playing a low lvl paladín is hard, you won't be much useful for the duo party until lvl 150-200 in my opinion, when you can start using Diamond arrows and can summon the emberwing.

If you just wanna Rush lvl, and you don't care about the waste I would do a MS; if you do and don't care about lvling up fast (at least on the beginning) do an Ek.

How are you planning on playing? do you want to rush or are you looking to just advance at a regular pace see what's new.  I would say MS so you can both team hunt and do more damage, you will be able to rush more easily this way and still find knights on your level range to team hunt with. Maybe even think about two EDs, ED are pretty good for pvp and are always in demand, more useful on bosses too. You will still get a small % bonus while party hunting

If your brother already chose druid it would be nice if you get knight so you can block for him and he can heal you (that would be a perfect duo if you 2 have the plans of playing together almost every time) knights and druids are always requested to team hunts or duo hunts so if one of you can play you can both find someone else to hunt easily.

Paladin and sorcerers are more like solo hunters. Paladins having more profit than mages at the lowers lvls but 2 low level mages can’t do much damage without an knight (at least not until you can use runes and have some spells). Paladin and a druid could be good it almost same as an knight in blocking creatures and can use range arrows and spells.

Getting to a lvl where you can use area runes and even sd is fairly easy now, I don't think low level gameplay is as important as later hunts. Having SDs two mages can go PG to oramond or issavi and make more exp than with a knight (with a lot of waste ofc)  but they can advance faster and unlock better hunting spots or team hunts

PG is easy with 2 mages but you need to waste a lot that’s why I detail the lower lvls part, and yes lower lvl hunt is important to someone coming back after years

Well, long time you didn't play Tibia so I suppose that you don't know how to leveling fast on the newest places. I'm thinking about it, because nowadays it is possible to make 500 lvl in few months playing 2-3 hours per day.

If your brother is an ED then I could suggest you EK, because its a power couple in Tibia :D Even without full team you could hunt duo. And till you are 600-700 lvl it's fun. The problem is that on high levels 700+ nowdays it's better to hunt solo as ED or EK... not in duo. If you're planning to play from time to time then EK is a really good choice. But if you're pan is to make a high level then only Royal Paladin. Nowdays it's the best vocation. The highest chance to win most of bosses, everywhere profit, can exp solo with the best possible exp/h on many places, can exp in team or in duo with ED.

RP is really the best especially on high level. Unfortunately it has one disadvantage - Diamond Arrows. It's nice to have an "arrow maker" :P Without it you have to ask other people for arrows and waste your time. That's why you have to think if you're going to pg. EK will be a great choice as well, till you'll make ~700 lvl. RP is great overall, no matter which level.

I think is good a paladin, because this vacation help to blocker and the damage is very good for profit and xp.

hey,

I would say going for knight is the better option
and then you can help your druid more often exeta res target around him if something switches to him and you can block way better

the perfect duo is EK+ED, RP is nice but it's not as useful as EK on duos hunt
