What's the history of April Fool's day on Tibia?

I'm wondering if it's a tradition that Tibia play an April Fools joke on us on or around April 1st of every year or it only sometimes? If so, maybe you can tell me a little bit of the history of April Fools day on Tibia.

CIP has had some variation of an April fools day joke every year since 2005. Over the years some were more believable than others. Some years they would post them 2-3 days early and not announce the joke until April 1st or later.
