How much time must pass to close stone in Triangle Tower?

Does this close after a while? I wonder how much time I have to run inside Triangle Tower.

The Door to the Triangle Tower is opened by a switch located here and will not close (other than at SS) unless someone else flips the switch.

If that does happen you can exit the Tower using the Teleport located on the basement floor (there is also a Bonelord on that floor).
