Can I start a new task without killing the boss?

Question

I'm doing medusae and serpent spawns tasks, but I don't have access to deeper banuta to kill the bosses. So when I finish these tasks, can I start again even without killing the bosses?

Yes you can. Back in the days I always pick another Ghastly Dragons task while finishing last one and when I reach hunting place i might kill boss where on the way to teleport Ghastlys were included to new task.

Yes, the only thing you have to do is report your tasks and ask for it once again, they points you get will be appears in your Quest Log:

Many players often collect boss points on lower level tasks and use them to kill the toughest task bosses in the upper levels.

After you collect 100 Tasks points you will be able to kill the bosses from low lever tasks, in case that you coudn't kill them before.

that info by itself (without the link)  doesn't say the most important things: 1. u need a max ammount of points for ur lvl range to collect boss points. 2. if u end twice the same tasks u may
 only kill 1 time the boss until the thing of wasting boss point (even i didn't knew that), so by itself is a half-answer that can easily be misunderstood by being unintuitive.

I think u are focus to another point. The question is if you can star a new task without kill the boss, and yes you can!
