How to solve problems with screen recording on Tibia?

So, since the patch that caused the screenshot bug, I am having a big problem related to recording videos of Tibia. OBS Studio worked fine for me and was an excellent tool that was recommended in a thread regarding Tibia recording here in this fansite:

The thing is, since the screenshot issue that affected almost every tibian, I am ALWAYS having problems if I try to record my gameplay. It is a "random" occurrence but can be detected very frequentely by me when I try to record. My recording will simply stop working after some time. No specific time. It just stops and shows a black screen after a while. Sometimes it takes several minutes to appear the black screen. Anyway, it shows a black screen just like the screenshot issue. If I start OBS BEFORE starting Tibia, it may record extra minutes before the black screen.

Pretty sure that it is a particular problem with Tibia, since I tested and it works perfectly when I record anything else besides Tibia.

The video was fine but then when I went to go check back on my recording it's black.. any way to resolve this that you're aware of or I officially lost all the recording? :S

I used to have the same issue as you after cipsoft did some changes.
First make sure your OBS is up to date, then do the following:
Add: Game Capture, then follow the settings below.

This always work for me, it may have a blackscreen sometimes at the beginning but then I just press fullscreen on the tibia client (CTRL+F) and then wait til I see the client on OBS, then press it again if you dont want fullscreen.
But after that it always works until from start to finish.

I noticed that sometimes running tibia as an admin works for me, concerning screenshots, maybe you should try this option :)

Oh, ok. Is there any way to make Tibia always run as an admin? I will try that today.
