Is noping/proxies against Tibia rules?

I'm not entirely sure if NoPing and other proxies violates tibia rules.

I'm from South American and I play in a NA server, so I have a little bit of lag. I was wondering if a proxy service would be worth, but then I'm not sure if that could be a reason for deletion, or ban.

Does anyone know?

I took this quote directly from the Technical Support forums:

"Yes, using a proxy is legal. Proxy programs can help you improving your connection and reducing lag. Note, however, that they pose a high security risk and that you use them on your own risk. Also, please understand that you lose all right for support if you experience problems with the Tibia client due to using an external program or proxy"

I've found an answer on some forum, where people claim that the proxy/noping is not illegal but it is also not supported by Cipsoft, so you have to keep in mind that any harm that comes to your account is on you.

There is no specific rule against this kind of program, at Tibia Rules in the section 3b they talk about using additional software to play, but is mentioned more about use bots and macros it means softwares tha execute actions for you.

Is not illegal, the only problem/adventage with proxy was the smart exit but Cipsoft solve it some months ago but don't prohibited still using the proxies.
