Does dying in any arena restore your mana and hitpoints?

I haven't done an arena in a long time I was wondering if it still restores your mana and hitpoints?

Used to happen to the one who died inside but nowadays they have changed the mechanism and when you die you appear inside the arena hall in red hp and mana. So the answer is no, It does not.
