Why is there no Guide in Svargrond?

I spend a bit of time in Svargrond and have noticed there is no guide there. Does anyone know the reason why? Or can point out their location if I have somehow missed them

Not unique to Svargrond - Kazordoon, Farmine, Gray Beach, and Roshamuul all also do not have guides.

Instead of Guide you can find on Svargrond guardas

1) Eirik - located here:

2) Fynn - located here

3) Sirik - located here:

If you talk with them, they will tell you all main locations in the city like depo or mana shop.

Here's a list of all the Guide NPCs, however some need to be added in the original answer but their in the comments.

There's no guide in Svargrond and I cannot find a reason why as it's considered one of the 12 cities and even places like Issavi, which isn't a major city have a Guide.

June 13 2008 Tutorials article states:

Having arrived on the main continent, city guides will await the young adventurer from now on. They are helpful in several ways. They have interesting information about their city, also they can mark places of interest on a character's automap, and they even escort characters below level 10 to the depot.

I didn't want to put it as answer, you can add it to yours if you want. You can find on Svargrond 3 guards - Eirik, Fynn and Sirik. If you talk wth them they can tell you locations like where is depo, magic shop, etc.

I did not know about the proposal. Thank you for the information.  The main reason i find it frustrating is there is no way to find out the status of world changes in Svargrond.
