Best Defense in Plague Seal?

Hello, I have a doubt about plague seal in ferumbras, I would like to know which sets are using rps and eks there, because I have seen that they recommend death and fire, but I think that it is more appropriate defense to the earth and death, because if I am not wrong the hellflayer beam is of death (and it is the most dangerous attack in that seal), thanks in advance!

The Hellflayer  deals both death and fire damage, but it is most common to get hit from his bomb (fire damage) than from his beam (death damage), since for the beam to hit you, the Hellflayer have to be right in front of you.

Besides imbuing your set with fire and death protection, you should also wear life drain protection, since the Grimeleechs deal a life drain beam (550-950) and a throws a Viper star that deals life drain (50-200).

The only monsters in Plague Seal that deal Earth damage are the Plaguesmith  (up to 114) and the Defiler (up to 440) so it's not really worth it to change a Death or Fire defense imbuement for an Earth imbuement, specially considering you are going to be killing way more Grimeleechs and Hellflayers than Defilers.

Yes, but in this case you wouldn't need the life drain protection, I would probably go for a plasma ring, rainbow necklace and mana drain protection or fire protection on the arrow slot
