What is the use of a meat hammer?

I looted a lot of this but couldn’t find a single info about it (only that you can loot from cows)

I have a wild guess that since this is a stackable item, it might be that the attack value of if can be stacked OR that this hammer can be spent just like spears or small stones. But that's only a personal theory for now.

Apart from that, is very odd for a weapon to be stackable, so there is probably something particular about this item.
