Why map click is faster than normal movement?

I always wonder why map click is always faster than normal walking with keys. The character moves more fluent and without lag, why this happen?

When you click on the map you are giving only one comand, so the system identify the position you click and send yopur character to there. When we use the keyboard every sqm that your character move is one comand that is sent and understand by the system.

If so... Why "right click" is faster than "left click"?

It’s faster because you already set a location where you want to go so the server move your char to that position  but when you use the keys it needs to checks if it’s pressed then send it to server and then move your char and that depends of the time it takes to reach the server so its slower
