Could you make it clear to us why  do you specified Backpack of Holding? Or the question is about any backpack?It has to be tagged as "opinion-based" isn't?

It is worth to imbue ANY backpack (including holding backpack), as long as you put it as main backpack, and you put your loot backpacks, equip backpacks and others inside it.

Example:

If you are asking about the holding, in order just to use it without any others inside... I don't think it is worthy to spend money in imbuements for it.

I think it is worth to imbue a backpack of holding it weight less than a regular bp and has more space (24 slots)....
