Where are the Points of Interest for the "ice islands" subarea of Carlin in the Measuring Tibia quest?

Question

For the "Measuring Tibia" quest you are required to find 7 points of interest per sub-area. The Ice Islands sub-area seems to include an island that is impossible to reach, how do I get there?

The island that seems impossible to reach is called Arctic Faun's Island. It can only be reached by shipwrecking here while taking a shortcut from Port Hope.

To reach the island:

1. First make sure you activate the correct sub-area (Carlin, Ice Islands) in the Measuring Tibia quest
2. Go to the boat captain in Port Hope, Captain Charles
3. Ask the captain for a "shortcut"
4. Say "Yes"
5. Choose one of the cities from the list. It doesn't matter which one you choose, but Liberty Bay is cheapest

You will either land in Liberty Bay, or get stranded on one of several random islands. If you land in Liberty Bay, go to Port Hope and try again. If you land on an island that is NOT the ice island, you can try again in 20 hours (you can only shipwreck once every 20 hours).

If you don't have the patience to possibly have to wait 20 hours several times, you can also continuously reset the Points of Interest for the Ice Islands. There is a very small chance that none of the 7 required points will land on Arctic Faun's Island, allowing you to complete the sub-area without shipwrecking there.

There is no change, ZERO 0 chance to spawn all 7 points on single island.

If u want to discover Ice Island you HAVE to visit BOTH isles.

I managed to do that on a single island in the past. It is super hard to do, however. But definitely you can find 7 points on the Polar Bear Island. Too bad that I didn't record it.

I think the answer below should be incorporated to the "Best Answer". Yes, it is possible to get the 7 Points of Interest in the Polar Bear Island at the locations shown below. I've done it with two characters and it can take between one and two hours.

As stated before, you need to ask captain charles (port hope) for a shortcut. If you are lucky  enough, you'll get shipwrecked there.

If you don't wan't to wait 20h every time you get on a different island, you CAN get the 7 POI in the small polar bear island.

There are exactly 7 POI on that island, I marked them on my map:

Just reset the points every time any of them is missing and you'll get the 7 eventually... It took me about 2 hours.

When resetting, stay with your camera borders at least 1sqm away from the point so you can't see it, otherwise it will not spawn.

So you didn't even need to go to Arctic Island? Where is small Polar Bear Island?

That's correct, I found all the POI on this island.
To find it just go to  folda -1 and look for a rope spot next to a lake to the east.
