Why do people miss Tibia 7.6?

Wondering why people are missing Tibia 7.6

I think it is because it was the prime of Tibia where leveling was hard and gold was hard to get. This is also when the first Open Tibia knock offs started to become popular as well. People just like the harder style back then as the stuff you did felt more rewarding.

Update 7.6 is also when they added magic level requirements to most runes and did magic system overhall. Other things added in 7.6 was Quest like Ape city and The explorer society quest which at the time were big because of the lack of longer style quests.

In my opinion that version used to be simply but harder than now, from 7.6 to now Tibian changed a lot comparing with it launch until 7.6. I like the time of version 7.6 cuz there people use to play more for roleplay than now. Nowadays people cares just about to get lvl and make profit

In my opinion, the reason is a mixture of nostalgia, tougher game that result in higher sense of accomplishment.

Also the game was more RPG focused, and required more skills to be competitive in PVP.

Because people complains about what they have, and miss it when it is gone.

Everybody says they miss tibia 7.6, but most people don't play retro pvp (which is the most similar to the 7.6), or hardcore pvp because they are harder. I mean people likes to play it for a while, but for long times, in my opinion, it is prefered the easy way

I think it was harder (for example non-detachable stacks potions/runes, no hotkeys), the old version brings back memories, it's so nostalgic... but sometimes I don't understand complaints about the new tibia, because it is also well made, it has such "freshness"
