Can main character get deleted due to inactivity?

I created a new account through referral link - there was never an option to select a server and now I'm stuck with character created on some random server, while I'd like to keep the name I used. To make things worse, it was automatically marked as main character, so I have no option to delete it, unless i pay for main character change. Will that character get deleted after not logging in for a month (it is level 1)?

If you do not log into your account for a certain amount of time, it will be deleted along with all of your characters. That is if you have never paid for any Tibia Service (Premium Time, Tibia Coins, Recovery Key etc) with real money.

According to the Tibia.com FAQ:

Accounts are deleted automatically if no character of this account has logged into the Tibia client within a period of n months where n is equal to the level of the highest character on this account. Note that characters which have never logged in (e.g. if purchased from a character auction without logging into game) are rated as level 1 characters.

So yes, your account will be deleted within 1 month if you do not log in during that period.

Sorry, but I asked about particular character deletion (and one marked as main character of the account in this case), not about account deletion - I was able to find that info myself. Thanks for reply though.

Yes, I understood the question. But this is the only way you can delete a main character. It is not possible to delete a specific character from the account due to inactivity. As long as you log in to the account, no characters will be deleted.

Your options are limited:
- Either you choose another main character, paying the fee of 250 Tibia Coins
- Or you transfer this character to the world you want to play, paying 750 Tibia Coins
- Or you delete the entire account and create a new character with the same name. However, you will have to wait a few months to be able to use the same name.

There is another alternative, which would be cheaper, but I'm not sure if it would work. Maybe if you put this character in the bazaar (50 coins), it might lose its main character status. If you do this, set a very high price, so that you don't run the risk of someone buying it.
